Green Tourism Business Scheme
ENVIRONMENTAL
AWARD WINNER
The hotel has now achieved a Silver Award in the Green
Tourism Scheme piloted in the South Hams. This pilot scheme
for the South West is based on the same criteria applied
in the long running scheme in Scotland and includes assessment
over 30 areas of environmental effectiveness. Whilst in
many areas our progress was judged excellent there were
some where the development of "work in progress" should
bear substantive results next assessment! Suffice to say
the assessment was rigorous and has enabled us to benchmark
our progress in this important area.
