Easter at Kitley House Country Hotel, South Devon 2010

Easter in the South West is a busy time of year for our visitors looking to shrug off the winter blues and to get a breath of fresh air. It is also time to visit relations in the region and combine family duties with R&R! We are very much aware that the needs of all our visitors is different and that the times to visit Devon vary considerably from late March to mid April. We have therefore devised a programme of entertainment to complement your visit.

Easter period events at Kitley House

On the Friday before Easter on the 26th March we are hosting the first of three Murder Mystery Dinners during the period. At Kitley House this year we are holding a Fun Casino Dinner with the James Bond theme on the Saturday 3rd April. This will be great fun and ever so slighly competetive! On the weekend after Easter we are hosting a double header of Murder Mystery Dinners on the 9th & 10th April. Our fun Easter programme concludes on the 17th April with a Latino Dinner Dance featuring one of the regions leading Salsa Tutors.

Things to do at Easter in South Devon & Plymouth

At this time of the year all of the attractions are open - from National Trust to Childrens Theme Parks - so there is something for everyone. And yes it is England so if the conditions for beach and moorland walks are a little challenging then Plymouth is just 15 minutes drive time from the hotel. In this historic maritime city the Nationally aclaimed Theatre Royal will have a full programme and there is always the fallback of the regions largest cinema complex and shopping centre to keep you entertained until the clouds clear!
